            he has on a VR headset
            and large headphones
            completely trapped
            a group of SCIENTISTS watch him and take notes as he talks

They went down the hill, I told them not to, I said if they did there’d be no protection, no protection for what they, do you understand me, down the hill I could not protect them, they did not want to listen to me, three golden challises, in a row, one on fire, the golden challises, in a row, one frozen to the touch, three golden challises, in a row, what’s in the third one? poison? daisies? a field of daises rotting underfoot, down the hill, I told them not to go, they did not listen, nobody ever listens, I have the sword of Endor, you need the sword, the challises cover a grave, the grave is filled with maggots, the maggots-

SCIENTIST

MAN
the maggots rise up and take the challises, if they have the challises who will poison you? not the snake, the snake’s crawled up your rectum, look and check, it’s in there slithering, it’s making you cry, why do you think you’re crying? it’s not the maggots, they’re still in the grave, at the bottom of the hill, I TOLD THEM NOT TO GO TO THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL

MAN
THEY HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME, why won’t they listen to me, oh god oh god, I miss my mother, I lost her in the daisies, I lost everything to the wizard, with the challises, he made the maggots, he put them in her grave, he knew I knew and he tried to kill me, he cut me open here, under the chin, he said he had to put a hex in my throat, the snake crawled up my rectum into my throat and grabbed the hex and swallowed it whole and THAT IS WHAT MADE THE POISON, I am the poison, I told them not to go down the hill but they did and now I’m dying, stop it oh god NO PLEASE STOP PLEASE STOP PLEASE STOP OH MY GOD NO PLEASE-
