To burn a city that has turned to idol worship (Deut. 13:17)

            a FATHER and a SON

            the stand before a bonfire

            the SON holds a dollhouse

FATHER
c’mon

SON
i don’t want to

FATHER
you have to

SON
please dad

FATHER
it’s not right it’s not godly we have to burn what isn’t godly

SON
i can fix it

FATHER
you can’t fix godlessness

SON
they mean no harm

FATHER
killed your mother killed your dog killed your teacher killed my brother and you say they mean no harm?

SON
they don’t mean it. they don’t mean it.

FATHER
they do. evil always means it. into the fire.

            a small figurine jumps out of the doll house and onto FATHER’s face

            the figurine crawls up FATHER’s nose

            FATHER stumbles around as he tries to key the figurine out of his nose

            he trips and falls in the fire

            other figurines hop out of the doll house

            they hold FATHER down as they burn

            SON watches without intervening

SON
they mean no harm they mean no harm i promise dad i promise

            FATHER burns
