Halfway Done!

Hello all,
No new play today, as it's a Saturday, but I wanted to take a moment to reflect now that we've hit the halfway mark!
First things first - the Mitzvot Project got a shout-out this week in Lauren Halvorsen's iconic Nothing for the Group Substack. If you don't already follow her, what are you waiting for?!

I am deeply grateful for how each of you has engaged with this project over the past couple of months. I love hearing your responses, your interpretations, your rebuttals. If there are people in your life who you think would enjoy this project, I'd love it if you'd share it with them. Let's grow this community over the remaining 49 plays. Speaking for myself, this has been such a light amid the absolute shitshow that is the world and this nation right now.
Speaking of the evils of this nation, there is a full-blown assault on trans people, especially trans youth, playing out right now. Republicans are using every lever of power they have to enact this violence, and too many Democrats are too feckless to defend our queer friends and family. Iowa, where I lived for a few years, is rolling back trans rights at an alarming rate, directly hurting people I love dearly. If you are able, consider donating to the Iowa Trans Mutual Aid Fund.
Every moment of this chapter of history is exhausting. Let's not let the exhaustion prevent us from helping one another out.
Wishing you all lightness and rest,
Eric
